Terms and Conditions – Shipping of Carnivorous Plants
- Orders for plants are typically processed within 7-10 business days from the date of purchase.
2. All carnivorous plants will be shipped bare-root. This means that they will be shipped with only a portion of their growing medium to protect their roots during transit.
3. To ensure the safe and healthy delivery of your carnivorous plants, they will be carefully wrapped in a damp paper towel to maintain moisture. This paper towel will be placed around the roots of the plants.
The wrapped plants will be enclosed in a plastic bag to create a humid microenvironment, protecting them from dehydration and shock during shipping.
The plastic bag containing the plants will then be securely placed in a shipping box to prevent damage during transit.
6. Shipping times may vary depending on your location, but we will make every effort to ensure a prompt delivery. Please be aware that once your order leaves our facility, we have no control over shipping delays due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In winter if we are shipping, we may ask if you would like to add a heat-pack to your order to keep your plants warm and in optimal health.
Plant Health Guarantee:
8. We take great care to ensure that your carnivorous plants are healthy and well-packaged before they leave our facility. However, we cannot guarantee the well-being of the plants once they are in transit, as we have no control over external conditions during shipping.
Claims and Returns:
9. In the unlikely event that your plants arrive damaged or in poor health, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We may request photographs of the damaged plants and packaging for assessment.
- We will review your claim and, if deemed appropriate, provide a refund, replacement, or store credit at our discretion.
Cancellations and Changes:
11. If you need to cancel or make changes to your order, please notify us as soon as possible. Orders that have already been processed and shipped cannot be canceled or modified.
12. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping information. Any additional costs incurred due to incorrect or incomplete address information will be the customer’s responsibility.
